Our Work

Through An Dóchas, our ministry focus is spread across multiple avenues.

• Blessing – We believe trust is best built through blessing the community we love. This may be through the creation of community remembrance gardens, partnering with local schools, supplying Irish language Bibles, or teaching English classes for refugees.
• Evangelism – Through relationship and lived witness, we share the “An Dóchas” of Jesus.
• Peacebuilding and Peacemaking – Divisions still exist and we work to build bridges and help foster understanding and healing.
• Church Planting – We believe that “An Dóchas” requires a local Gospel witness, which is why we are laying the groundwork for a vibrant, local church that reflects the culture and unique needs in our community.
• Support and Resource – As others consider partnering with us on the ground, we want to be able to have the framework set up to assist them.
