What does An Dóchas mean?
(pronounced 'on doe-cuss’)
An Dóchas is Irish for “The Hope.” These words capture the heart of our vision: to bring the living hope of Jesus into the everyday lives of people in West Belfast, a community shaped by beauty, tragedy, resilience, and the lingering deep wounds from its past.
We believe this An Dóchas, the hope of Christ, has the power to transform, heal, and restore not just lives, but the entire community.
